In 2004, having graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University College Cork with honours, Sarah went on to complete further vocational training in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK. She completed her membership examinations (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007.

Sarah gained invaluable experience working as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Ipswich Hospital and The University Dental Hospital of Manchester. Following this Sarah spent a number of years working in general practice and in the community dental services while continuing to work part time in the oral surgery department in Manchester Dental Hospital. She enjoyed teaching the dental students and treating complex cases and nervous patients. Her post graduate studies saw her complete several year long Restorative Dental Courses with Tipton Training. In addition to this, she has also completed a postgraduate course in Conscious Sedation in 2007.

Sarah moved home to Tramore in 2011. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association, SAAD, DSTG and the Royal College of Surgeons. She is registered with the Irish Dental Council.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys eating out, spending time with her family, attending the odd concert or comedy show, supporting Waterfords hurling team and meeting her friends for a good catch up.
