Dr Cusack graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University College Cork with honours. She went on to complete further vocational training in the UK. Following this, she completed her membership examinations (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007.
Sarah gained invaluable experience working in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Ipswich Hospital and The University Dental Hospital of Manchester. Following this Sarah spent a number of years working in general practice and in the community dental services while continuing to work part time in the oral surgery department in Manchester Dental Hospital. She enjoyed teaching the dental students and treating complex cases and nervous patients. She has also completed a postgraduate course in Conscious Sedation in 2007 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dentisty in 2011. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association, SAAD, DSTG and the Royal College of Surgeons.
Sarah moved home to Tramore in 2011 and took over from her own former dentist Dr Frank O’Sullivan.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and recently became a mother to a gorgeous little girl. Sarah also loves travelling around Ireland and spending time outdoors whether it is on land or water, supporting Waterfords hurling team and meeting her friends for a good catch up.
